Sheep

Sheep and lambs grazing Lambs loll in the warm sunshine.
In early April the sheep and lambs are happy to graze on the few blades of grass. Some of the sheared sheep are keeping warm from having belly wool remaining until the summer. The sheep will be coated again after the lambs are weaned. This year we have 40 lambs. Ruby, the first to give birth this spring, had triplet ram lambs. Her #2 lamb takes advantage of a quick drink while Ruby eats hay in the barn. All the lambs this year have U-names.
